? The international business community forum will be held in Belarus for the first time, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The forum will be held on 14 December and will be timed to the 60th anniversary of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Invitations to take part in the forum were sent to 250 people, including more than 100 foreigners. The participation has already been confirmed by representatives of chambers of commerce and industry and other business associations of Azerbaijan, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Ecuador and Japan.

The forum is designed to find efficient instruments to enhance the role of chambers of commerce and industry in the regional economic integration, to strengthen cooperation of chambers with international organizations and government bodies and to establish mutually beneficial contacts between businessmen.

?It is for a reason that the forum is held in the year that marks the 60th anniversary of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The achievements, expertise and knowledge accumulated over the decades will be reflected in reports and discussions of our colleagues. We believe that the forum will become an efficient ground to discuss topical issues of economic integration, contribute to closer ties between businessmen all around the world, and draw attention to the capacities of Belarus, a dynamically developing and promising country,? Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Myatlikov said.

Speaking at the international forum will be Trade Minister of the Eurasian Economic Commission Andrei Slepnev, CEO and President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergei Katyrin, Director for International Affairs at the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry Eurochambres Dirk Vantyghem and other experts.

A regular session of the Advisory Board of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space will be held on the sidelines of the forum.
